1. Introduction
Welcome to Silo ("we," "us," or "Silo"), a premier Bitcoin-only key agent dedicated to providing trusted and secure multisignature key storage solutions. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services ("Services"). By engaging with our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.
2. Services Provided
Silo offers specialized key management services, securely storing one of the cryptographic keys within a multisignature Bitcoin wallet on your behalf. Our Services are designed to enhance the security and accessibility of your Bitcoin assets through industry-leading practices. We do not custody your Bitcoin directly, nor do we have access to your full wallet; our role is limited to safeguarding your designated key in accordance with these Terms.
3. Eligibility
To utilize our Services, you must meet the following criteria:
Be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence (typically 18 or older).
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with Silo.
Ensure that your use of our Services complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including those related to cryptocurrency ownership and usage.
Silo reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at its sole discretion, including where prohibited by law.
4. User Responsibilities
As a user of our Services, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during onboarding and throughout your use of our Services.
Safeguard the confidentiality of your account credentials, private keys, and any other sensitive information associated with your Silo account.
Promptly notify us at info@silo.global of any unauthorized access, security breach, or suspected compromise of your account or keys.
Use our Services exclusively for lawful purposes and refrain from any activity that may disrupt, damage, or impair Silo’s operations, reputation, or systems.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your other multisignature keys and for any actions taken using your account.
5. Security Measures
Silo employs rigorous security protocols to protect your stored key, including but not limited to:
Cold Storage: Your key is maintained offline in a physically secure environment, isolated from internet-based threats.
Regular Audits: We conduct periodic internal and third-party security assessments to verify the integrity of our systems and processes.
Restricted Access: Access to your key is limited to a select group of authorized personnel, subject to multi-factor authentication and strict procedural controls.
Encryption: All data associated with your key is encrypted using industry-standard cryptographic techniques.
While we strive to maintain the highest security standards, you acknowledge that no system is entirely immune to risk, and your use of our Services is at your discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Silo shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or assets.
Losses resulting from unauthorized access, hacking, or theft due to factors beyond our reasonable control, such as your failure to secure your account or other multisignature keys.
Any loss, damage, or delay caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, acts of war, terrorism, or governmental actions.
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the Services in the preceding twelve (12) months.
7. Termination of Services
Silo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services, with or without notice, if:
You breach any provision of these Terms.
We are required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or orders from a governmental or regulatory authority.
We detect or suspect fraudulent activity, security threats, or misuse of our Services.
You fail to pay applicable fees (if any) in a timely manner.
Upon termination, we will follow our key retrieval or destruction policies as required by law. You may also request termination of your account by contacting us at info@silo.global.
8. Amendments to Terms
We may modify these Terms at our discretion to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or operational needs. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website (silo.global) and, where feasible, via email. Your continued use of our Services following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue using our Services.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada, conducted in English under the rules of the ADR Institute of Ontario (ADRIO). Notwithstanding the foregoing, Silo may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its rights.

11. Entire Agreement
